Online Training for Faculty & Staff from
www.elementk.com
Through the IITT program budget, online learning is now available to
faculty and staff of the Connecticut Community College System.
Employees (including both part-time and fulltime staff and faculty)
can request subscriptions to
Element K-produced course libraries through which they can access online
courses in MS Office Applications as well as many others, such as
FrontPage, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, HTML, and more.

Catalog. The courses under "Desktop Applications" and "Multimedia
& Design"
are
ones that you can access through one of our subscriptions.
In addition to the standard Element K courses, subscriptions to
several internally-produced
proprietary faculty/staff training courses can also be added to a
staff member's account. Subscriptions to the
Element K libraries include access to either self-paced or
instructor-led classes, as well as to online reference books, Community
Forums, an online store, certification opportunities, self-assessments,
and other resources. Learners can access their Element K courses from
their office or from home.
If you are interested in having an Element K subscription assigned
to you, please contact Tobi
Krutt at the System Office to request a subscription. Please include
the applications you are interested in learning, so a determination can
be made about which course libraries you'll need to be provided access
to.
