Frequently Asked Questions about
the IITT Program

Is there a cost to attend IITT-sponsored classes?
IITT is a system-sponsored program, and there is no cost to either the employee or the college for faculty or staff to attend IITT-sponsored classes, or to take advantage of online resources either developed or purchased through IITT.

Who can reserve seats in IITT classes?
Any part-time or full-time faculty or staff employee of the CT Community Colleges can attend these classes.

What if I don't find what I'm looking for in the IITT Course Cart system?
Several colleges have open support labs which are open to employees of other schools. You can also check our listing of the additional training opportunies for faculty and staff.

Can IITT courses be offered at my college?
Any IITT class can be scheduled at your college upon request, as long as there are enough attendees to make running the class worthwhile (usually 4-5 people). For more information, contact Tobi Krutt, Manager of Technological Tools & Training at the System Office.
