Next Meeting

The next meeting of AITAC is scheduled for Friday September 14, 2007t 10:00, room 323, 61 Woodland Street. After that date our meetings will be moved to room 263. Scheduled meeting dates in 2007 include: 9/14, 10/12, 11/9, and 12/14. For 2008: 2/8, 3/14, 4/11, and 5/9.

Committee Charge

The Academic Information Technology Advisory Committee provides advice on issues related to the use of academic information technology, suggests appropriate academic computing and instructional technology policies, reviews policy and procedure proposals developed by the Information Technology Policy Committee (ITPC) and comments upon those proposals, and recommends priority for academic computing activities and efficient distribution of resources in support of curricular activities.

This committee forwards its recommendations to the Information Technology Policy Committee. Committee members have a responsibility to maintain a two-way flow of information with their appropriate Councils.
