The mission of the Communications Office is to present accurate, timely and persuasive
information about the mission, value and achievements of
Connecticut’s Community Colleges, and to increase understanding and support
of that mission among the public, students, the media, business and
government leaders.
The Communications Office provides statewide public relations, media
relations, and marketing communications support, planning and
coordination for the System of Community Colleges, as well as internal
communications and communications support for the Board of Trustees, the
Chancellor, and divisions within the Chancellor’s Office.
