CT Community Colleges - Communications

Mission

The mission of the Communications Office is to present accurate, timely and persuasive information about the mission, value and achievements of Connecticut’s Community Colleges, and to increase understanding and support of that mission among the public, students, the media, business and government leaders.

The Communications Office provides statewide public relations, media relations, and marketing communications support, planning and coordination for the System of Community Colleges, as well as internal communications and communications support for the Board of Trustees, the Chancellor, and divisions within the Chancellor’s Office.

The Connecticut Community Colleges are statewide leaders and partners in the academic, economic, and cultural lives of our communities.  You will be surprised by how much we can do for you.  You can earn an Associate Degree, refresh your skills, or learn new ones.  At a community college near you, you'll discover extraordinary educators who understand your real-life educational needs.

The Connecticut Community Colleges are accessible for everyone, with 12 college campuses, their community learning centers, low tuition and fees,  financial aid opportunities, English-as-a-Second Language programs, on-site child care centers, international study programs and cooperative education programs.
