Workers' Compensation Information

The Connecticut Workers’ Compensation Act provides wage replacement and other benefits, including medical treatment for employees injured, disabled or killed while performing their job and for employees with occupational illness resulting from employment. The Workers’ Compensation module in Core-CT (called “Workforce Monitoring”) allows authorized users to enter and manage data for incidents, injuries, and claims. The documentation contained here provides an overview of the benefits provided and how those benefits are provided. The information provided includes general regulatory reference material along with specific training material and documents that relate Workers’ Compensation activities to the other Core-CT modules and how to input incident, injury, and claim data into Core-CT.

In this category, the “Reference” and “Training” folders contain the primary documentation. College users should utilize the reference folder to view information about regulations and resources or go to the training folder to view PowerPoint presentations and other documents from Workers’ Compensation training sessions.
