State agencies register staff for In-Service Training Programs. Each agency chooses
whether or not to participate in the program each term, and each sets
internal policies best suited to their needs. Agencies designate one
Training Approval Officer, who is the coordinator for that agency and
the liaison to the State In-Service Coordinator. He or she is the best
source of information for state employees looking for more information
about programs, policies, deadlines, and so on.
