Colleges (CCC) are committed to restoring services and having data
available in a timely, properly managed, and cost-effective manner, in
the event that the CCC system data center is unavailable for an extended
period of time. Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery is an important
aspect of the CCC system data center’s planning activities and is a
primary objective within the CCC's
Information Technology
Strategic Plan:
Develop arrangements and procedures that will
enable the System and colleges to respond to a disaster event in such a
manner that critical business IT functions continue with planned levels
of interruption or essential change.

Develop a disaster recovery plan with
increasing levels of recovery based on system and local college
priorities.

Establish estimated costs for recovery
services and present options to the
Information Technology Policy Committee for recommendations.
