How to Show Internet Headers 

Eudora:

  1. Double-click on the e-mail you wish to view to open it.
  2. Click on the "Blah, Blah, Blah" button at the top of the e-mail. This will expand the e-mail to show you full headers. You can now forward this e-mail with the full headers.

Netscape 4.x:

  1. Double-click on the e-mail you wish to view to open it.
  2. From the menu at the top of the e-mail, select 'View,' and from the drop-down menu, select 'Headers'
  3. Several selections will pop up to the right. Select 'All.' You can now forward this e-mail with the full headers.

Outlook 98/Outlook 2000:

  1. Double-click on the e-mail you wish to view to open it.
  2. From the menu at the top of the e-mail, select 'View,' and from the drop-down menu, select 'Options...'
  3. At the bottom of the window which comes up, you will see a scrolling window titled 'Internet headers.' To copy the headers, click your cursor before the first line of the header, hold down the mouse button, and drag down until all of the text in that window is highlighted. Then, hit the 'Ctrl' and 'c' keys (when you hit the 'Ctrl' key, keep it held down until you hit the 'c' key). You can then paste them (with the original e-mail) into a new or reply-to-e-mail window by clicking in the window and then hitting the 'Ctrl' and 'v' keys (when you hit the 'Ctrl' key, keep it held down until you hit the 'v' key).

Outlook 2003/2007:

  1. Right click on the e-mail you wish to view, select 'Options...' for Outlook 2003 or 'Message Options...' for Outlook 2007.
  2. At the bottom of the window which comes up, you will see a scrolling window titled 'Internet headers.' To copy the headers, click your cursor before the first line of the header, hold down the mouse button, and drag down until all of the text in that window is highlighted. Then, hit the 'Ctrl' and 'c' keys (when you hit the 'Ctrl' key, keep it held down until you hit the 'c' key). You can then paste them (with the original e-mail) into a new or reply-to-e-mail window by clicking in the window and then hitting the 'Ctrl' and 'v' keys (when you hit the 'Ctrl' key, keep it held down until you hit the 'v' key).

Outlook Express:

  1. Double-click on the e-mail you wish to view to open it.
  2. From the menu at the top of the e-mail, select  'File,' and from the drop-down menu, select  'Properties.'
  3. From the new window, select the 'Details' tab.
  4. To copy the headers, click your cursor before the first line of the header, hold down the mouse button, and drag down until all of the text in that window is highlighted. Then, hit the 'Ctrl' and 'c' keys (when you hit the 'Ctrl' key, keep it held down until you hit the 'c' key). You can then paste them (with the original e-mail) into a new or reply-to-e-mail window by clicking in the window and hitting the 'Ctrl' and 'v' keys (when you hit the 'Ctrl' key, keep it held down until you hit the 'v' key).
