For the most recent academic year of 2007-2008, this information is taken directly from SWRXG04, Tech Prep Student Enrollment for Postsecondary. The minimum catalog term paramter used was 1063XX and the maximum catalog term parameter was 1081XX. For the prior academic years, this infromation was provided by the twelve colleges.
As mentioned in the previous note, entries such as this are totaled from the colleges' Tech Prep or College Career Pathways enrollment reports. The corresponding "per high school" report is taken directly from Banner. For some academic years, the Banner high school detail gives more students in the Tech Prep or College Career Pathway programs than the colleges reported in this summary table. In 2006-2007, the twelve colleges reported a total of 5,781 students, while the Banner detail by high school report finds a total of 5,772 students for this academic year. This disparity is the subject of continuing analysis.
Counts are of students in the census date SWRSXST table of the SWRXF22 with an admit type of "09" for high school partnership. For the supporting query, please see ToadQuestion1HSPartnership.sql.

For this and other queries supporting question 2, plesae see ToadQuestion2SubsequentCollegeEnrollment.sql. |
This line reports new fall students (student in a fall term with Banner student type of "N") admitted from a Tech Prep or College Career Pathway program (Banner admit types of 10, 11, or 12), with previous credits (cumulative credit hours from academic history greater than 0) and with a high school graduation year equal to the year of college entry (the high school graduation year is equal to the year of the fall term that the student had the student type of "N".)
Students with the Banner admit types for Tech Prep and College Career Pathways (Banner admit types of 10, 11, or 12) are counted from the census date SWRXF22 for the fall and spring terms of each academic year.
