The Office of Planning, Research and Assessment is part of the Board of Trustees of Connecticut Community Colleges.  The mission of this department is to provide leadership and direction in all areas of college administration regarding assessment, strategic planning, policy analysis and development, research, legislative and regulatory analysis, and program management.

The office executes its mission within the guidelines established by the Code of Ethics adopted by the Association for Institutional Research, December 18, 1992.
