On Campus or Online

Your computer, Internet connection and Web browser can open a whole new world of opportunities in higher education for you. Over 200 individual courses from computer languages to foreign languages as well as complete degree programs in Computer Information Systems and General Studies are offered online by Connecticut's Community Colleges in partnership with the Connecticut Distance Learning Consortium.

Library resources and many student services including registration, discussion groups and course materials are available online via the web. Reference materials, databases and the resources of Connecticut's Digital Library are available online for students, faculty and staff throughout the system.

Distance Learning
The Connecticut Community Colleges are the state's largest provider of on-line courses though the Connecticut Distance Learning Consortium. The partnership with the Consortium has led to the adoption of WebCT, a course management software with user support and help desk features for community college students.  This internet-based resource allows faculty at all 12 colleges to integrate instructional technology into every class.
